Scratching your head trying to figure out what these abbreviations mean??? Well, I am here to help. I have complied a list of the most common coupon phrases out there.

Common abbreviations:

AFAIK – As far as I know
AFK – Away from keyboard
AR – After rebate

B&M – Brick and mortar store, physical store not online
BB – Best Buy
BBL – Be back later
BBIAB – Be back in a bit
BLINKIES – Smartsource coupons in store, near the products
BOGO – Buy One Get One Free
B1G1F – Also Buy One Get One Free
BRB – Be right back

BTFE – Box Top For Education
BTW – By the way
BVG – Best Value Guarantee (Offered by some credit card companies)

CAT or CATALINA – Coupon dispensed at register after purchase
CC – Credit card
CLFE – Campbell’s Labels for Education
CPN – Coupon
CRT – Cash Register Tape
CSR – Customer service representative
CYA – See ya
CYM – Check your mail

DD – Deal discussion
DND – Do Not Double
DOUBLE COUPON – Grocery store doubles the savings from the coupon
DOA – Dead on Arrival

ECB – Extra Care Bucks from CVS earned on purchases
ER – Easy Rebates (for Staples), sometimes used for CompUSA eRebates
ESR – EasySaver Rebate from Walgreens – More Info

FS or F/S – Free Shipping
FSI – Free Standing Insert – Single Coupon Pages in Newspaper

GDA – Good deal at
